95 HP, 341 cid, L-Head V-8 Engine, 3-Speed Transmission Engine No. 324790 In 1929 as Harley Earl's influence grew within the halls of General Motors and Cadillac seems to have benefitted most due to his innovative designs. For 1929 several new innovations were seen such as fuller fenders, and for the first time, an adjustable front seat and safety features including a totally redesigned braking system, strengthening of the frame and better riding Delco shock absorbers. This outstanding example of a phaeton created by Fisher on the 140" wheelbase is just such an example known as body style 1183, this car carries body number 106, has been treated to a full professional restoration and is ready for the road or with some minor detailing for star billing on the show circuits. Finished with a tan body, accented by medium green highlights and fenders, it is stunning. The interior is a pleasing dark green leather, while the wire-spoke wheels are done in a light yellow and wear Lester reproduction wide-whitewall tires. The top is tan canvas with all the mechanisms working properly it can be lowered easily and raised to present a smooth snug fitting appearance. In addition to the dual side-mount spares, with strap-on rear-view mirrors and side vent wings, are a functioning pair of Pilot Ray driving lights that operate with the steering gear, lighting your path safely for night travel. In the late 1920's, Cadillacs were the cars that only the wealthy could afford. Just a little over 18,000 were produced for the 1929 model year and finding an example as appealing as this Phaeton is a rare opportunity. Recognized by the Classic Car Club of America as a Full Classic, and a very important part of the Cadillac-La Salle Club, the new owner of this Model 341 will be welcomed wherever they wish to go.
